Living Limitlessly

Live healthy & happy

Check out one of my favorite new bands, THE CERMONIES. Listen to their debut single above called LAND OF GATHERING. I love, love, love them - hope you do too!

I AM - The Documentary

Check out this inspirational documentary by Tom Shadyac. The film explores his personal journey about the meaning of life, traveling the world asking renowned historians, spiritual and religious leaders, and philosopher’s 1) What is wrong with our world and 2) What can we do about it.

“Let the music move you”

I love anything music related. Any genre, any artist, any time, any place. It’s a powerful force and it’s one of the greatest tools we have to reconnect to our inner self, and our highest spirits. Music unlocks emotional reactions that lead to inspired shifts and positive growth. It’s a reminder that we need nothing outside ourselves to find true happiness, except a feeling of joyousness and freedom in this moment. Meditation is important; and, as crucial as it is to spend some time each day in silence, so is finding what music moves us and falling in. It’s free therapy I swear!

Play with your list. Get together your “feel good” playlist and put it on speed dial. Track down the oldies, get lost in exploring new artists and songs, have a music-junkie friend send you an album of the week (I have one that does and it’s something I look forward all the time).  Find your favorites and fill your playlist with songs that make you sing out loud every time. Listen to it often and let it take you higher.

My feel good playlist right now:

Shine a Light – The Rolling Stones

Saving Grace – Tom Petty

Heaven is a Half Pipe-OPM

All for You – Sister Hazel

Deser’ee- You Gotta Be

Place Your Hands – Reef

I Wanna be Yours – Foxy Shazam

Mon Meilleur Ami – Yelle

Royal T – Crookers

Alive – Krewella

These Are My People – Rodney Atkins

Be a slave to the beat. Let loose, dance, feel it. It’s a tremendous help in releasing the incessant mind-chatter that overwhelms our angsty minds. Then, we can lean into the moment and let go.

Get sucked in. Once we do, we are mindful of the present and can better identify our feelings. We then start to question why we feel what we feel which helps unblock our guarded places so that we become more open to the flow of receiving.

Be an addict.  Let it change your mood. Music guides us, helps solve our problems, and lifts us up.  It takes us down memory lane, and it relaxes us. It’s a ride that although can take us on quite a journey, actually helps us stay centered and balanced in who we are.

Connect. Music forms a united front. It’s an intangible sensation and it’s universal. It does the same thing for all of us; no matter what style someone’s into, we all bond over the mutual perspective that music has the ability to reach our soul and brighten it up a little. When we share that bond with people we already love, it deepens the relationship to what’s real and strengthens it without words or actions.

Go Live.  The vibe in a room during a performance is creative and filled with loving intentions from the artists. As part of that audience, it’s easy to drink up all the energy leading us to a positive place of rest.
